Who’s up for a plate of this delicious Prawn Pulao? 😍🔥
Ingredients:
🔸️1 cup basmati rice
🔸️250g prawns
🔸️2 tbsp oil or ghee
🔸️1 onion & 1 tomato
🔸️1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
🔸️2 green chillies
🔸️½ cup yogurt (optional)
🔸️½ tsp turmeric powder & cumin seeds
🔸️1 tsp red chilli powder,garam masala
🔸️1 bay leaf,2 cardamom pods,2-3 cloves
🔸️2 cups water or stock
🔸️Salt to taste
🔸️Fresh coriander & mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
🔸️ Heat oil/ghee in a pan, add cumin, bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom. Let them sizzle.
🔸️ Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
🔸️ Stir in ginger-garlic paste, cook for a minute, then add prawns and cook until they turn pink.
🔸️ Add tomatoes, turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes soften.
🔸️ Add drained rice, mix well, and let it absorb the flavours.
🔸️ Pour in water or stock, cover, and let it simmer for 12-15 minutes until rice is cooked and fluffy.
🔸️ Sprinkle garam masala, fresh coriander, and mint leaves. Serve hot with raita or salad.
