SK Foods LTD was the brainchild of Shafique in 1995; he had over 30 years of experience in the restaurant and catering trade prior to embarking on this venture. Shafique is known for being a well organised and systematic individual ensuring that all customer needs are met. Shafique overlooks all key aspects of the business.
Outside of work, Shafique’s interests are diverse and range from travelling abroad to his favourite destination of Bangladesh, to visiting the gym and keeping fit.

Rumel Kamaly
Sales & Marketing Director
Rumel has been an active member of SK Foods from its early days of inception. Rumel joined the business full time after completing his Bachelors in Business Computing whilst specializing in marketing. Rumel worked closely with all departments to understand how different aspects of the business worked. Whilst being responsible for streamlining its procurement, working closely with manufacturers both national and internationally. Rumel works closely with both retail and wholesale clients to ensure service and product quality is always at its best.
Outside of work, Rumel enjoys playing various different sports, from football, tennis and badminton. Rumel enjoys cooking and would be delighted to rustle up his famous lamb shank if you’re willing to wait.

Nina Patel
Accounts/Office Administrator
Nina joined the team in 2012 as an accounts administrator from a large London based financial firm. Nina completed her BSc in Information Management and also possesses a host of post graduate qualifications. Nina specialises in total client administration management, including invoicing, payment and order processing.
Nina enjoys eating out in her favorite local restaurant as well as being a keen Netball player in her seven-a-side team.

Sathiya Thirunavukarasu
Warehouse & Logistics Manager
Sathi joined the team in 2007 as a warehouse operative, from a one of the largest petroleum suppliers in the country, specialising in warehouse management. Sathi’s hard work, determination and eye for detail prompted his appointment to warehouse and logistics manager. He is now in charge of all incoming and outgoing goods, as well as jointly managing the delivery schedule to retail clients.
Sathi is a keen mechanic and in his spare time enjoys tinkering with cars; you will also find him on a weekend watching his favourite football team, Arsenal trying to win some silverware.

Shuj Mahadeva
Senior Manager
Shuj is an integral part of the SK Foods management team who has a background in catering and events management. His attention to detail is second to none, always putting the customer first. Shuj overseas the vast supply chain of products from overseas to local suppliers.
Shuj takes a keen interest in a multitude of sport; from playing badminton to watching football. Shuj enjoys cooking and would not be obliged if asked to cook his famous Indian Biryani dish. Shuj takes a keen interest in dining out, making him quite the connoisseur to good food.
